Finally...

I have scanned the Dale of Norway Rosett pattern in ENGLISH.  I have gotten permission from Dale to publish it.  I think it's only been available as a free pattern on the internet in Norwegian prior to this.  I don't know much of anything about scanning things, so go easy on me.  If you click on the individual pictures it enlarges them and completes the edges.  Enjoy!
11/25/13:  Someone asked that I post the email from Dale:

Dale Norway

to me
Julie,
We don't translate all of the Norwegian patterns into English.  This was not one we translated.  You can put a link to the free pattern download on your blog.

The pattern 1019 Rosett is available free on the web, but only in Norwegian.  Would you consider making it available free in English?  If not, may I make it available on my blog?
Thanks!

This is great Julie! Where did you find it? Mind if I put a link to it on my site, woolybaabaa.com? Do you have more Dale patterns you might be making available?

No, go right ahead. The more the merrier! I have Dale books/magazines but no more leaflets.

love this pattern but can't print from your website. Can you help?

What browser are you using? I can left-click on each photo to enlarge it, right-click, and then choose Print. This is using Chrome. I'm not very well-informed about any other way to do it. Maybe other browsers will work the same way?

Does anyone else have a problem with needing patterns although knowing it's impossible to make eveything!! ??

Well, this outfit is just adorable and my intentions are to knit for charity - but I've only done a few things.

Thank you VERY much for making the pattern available - and thank Dale of Norway, too. I've a few of their patterns in my SOS.

Marny--You are so welcome. I was glad to be able to do it since so many people seemed to love the little sweater.

Hi! I would love to knit this my little one due in December, is there any way I could print it? Or would you mind sending it to me in an email? Thank you so much!!!!!
Marina.

In Google Chrome you can right-click on it and then print it. I don't have time right now to look for the scan. Maybe later!

Thank you! This is just what I've been looking for. Thanks to your scans, I was able to pull together a PDF. Not sure if this link to my dropbox will work, but feel free to try. If it works please do let me know. Thanks! Georg-Anne

I would love to make this but have no idea how to print so I can read it!

Julie said...

You may need to use magnifying glasses or something if the printed PDF is still too small.

I am confused about the sizes... i guess it´s 0-2 months, 6 months ... and then 9/2 months? what does that mean?

Julie said...

Julie--I never noticed that before. The only thing I can think of is size 9-12 months. You could email Dale and ask them.

How do you do the short rows in this pattern, I don't understand the pattern

Julie said...

I'm sorry, I haven't made the pattern. I just posted it here as a courtesy because so many knitters wanted an English version and I had a copy. Are you a member of Ravelry? I'm sure you could ask there or look on YouTube for a video. Good luck!
